Third Annual Town of Wappinger Carni’fall’

 

Location: Brexel-Schlathaus Park
Dates: October 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th

It’s time for our Third Annual Town of Wappinger Carni’fall’.  Last year we had a great time and saw a lot of both new & familiar smiling faces. We hope you will join us again this year!

Brexel-Schlathaus Park in the Myers Corners hamlet is once again the venue for this four day event Columbus Day weekend (October 6,7,8,9). The Town has partnered with McDaniels Brothers Shows to offer carnival rides throughout all four days of the event. Community Day will be filled with live music, food trucks, vendors, and plenty of games and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Friday Night, October 6th, ** WRISTBAND NIGHT **
Fire performers from CoSM will be hosting a large bonfire at Schlathaus for residents to enjoy.
Open 6 PM-10PM
– Wristband Night for Carnival Rides

6:00pm – Rides OPEN

6:00pm – Bosco & The Storm Concert

7:00pm – Bonfire Lighting With Fire Dancing

10:00pm- Rides CLOSE

Friday night, we will also have pumpkin painting available for the kids at the Wappinger Recreation Tent from 6PM-10PM

Saturday, October 7th, at 2:00pm we will kick off the day with the Annual Community Day Parade marching down Myers Corners Road toward the park.
Open 2 PM-10PM (Rides Open 3pm)
– Ticket Day for Carnival Rides (Wristbands will not be sold)

2:00pm – Parade Step Off (167 Myers Corners Rd)

3:00pm – Rides OPEN

5:00pm – Cruise Control Concert

8:00pm – 7 Days Gone Concert

10:00pm – Rides CLOSE

The entire Roy C. Ketcham Baseball Team will serve as the Honored Grand Marshals of the parade!

Pumpkin painting available for the kids at the Wappinger Recreation Tent from 4PM-10PM

Sunday, October 8th, the Town of Wappinger invites everyone at dusk to view our amazing fireworks display lighting up the sky!
Open 3pm-10pm
– Ticket Day for Carnival Rides (Wristbands will not be sold)

3:00pm – Rides OPEN

3:00pm – Cloud Nyne Concert

7:30pm – Jungle Love Concert

8:00pm (APPROXIMATELY) – Fireworks

10:00pm – Rides CLOSE

Fireworks will be best viewed from the monument side of the park!

Monday, October 9th, ** WRISTBAND DAY **, Monday is everything 80s with an 80’s themed concert, costume contest, and trivia contest!
Open 3pm-7pm
– Wristbands Day for Carnival Rides

3:00pm – Rides OPEN

3:00pm – Pour Some 80’s on Me Concert

4:00pm – 80’s Costume Contest

5:00pm – 80’s Trivia Contest

7:00pm – Rides CLOSE
