Town of Wappinger Earth Day Clean Up To Be Held on Saturday, April 24 Starting at 10:00am

Supervisor Richard L. Thurston, the Wappinger Town Board, the Office of the Town Historian, and Highway Department are proud to announce that in conjunction with Earth Day, the Town is hosting our annual Earth Day Clean Up.
This town wide cleanup is starting at Wappinger Town Hall at 10:00am
The Town is looking for community minded volunteers to come clean up various Town roads, parks, and community centers throughout Wappinger.
This socially distant event that typically has families participate in, will have families stick together in their own group. Masks are required when social distancing is not possible.
At this time we have received requests from residents to clean up the following roads Old Post Road, part of Myers Corners Road, River Road, Sgt Palmateer Way, as well as Carnwath Farms Historic Site & Park, Middlebush Cemetery and others.
The more volunteers we can get the more we can beautify our great Town!
Contact County Legislator Joey Cavaccini at jcavaccini@townofwappingerny.gov to volunteer and get more information!
