Supervisor Richard L. Thurston, the Wappinger Town Board, and the Department of Parks & Recreation are proud to recognize and honor those who have served with our Town’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 11 at 1:00pm at the Memorial Plaza in front of Wappinger Town Hall.

Our keynote speaker this year is Dawn Schaal, Director of the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System. As you know, the VA center at Castle Point is part of that Healthcare System and is located just south of the Town of Wappinger boarder in Fishkill, so we are honored and grateful for her participation in this ceremony. We ask everyone young and old to attend as we pay tribute to veterans past and present for their courage, sacrifice and service to our country.
