For all the folks who are missing craft fairs, we have not one, but two coming up for you!
For all the folks who are missing craft fairs, we have not one, but two coming up for you! On Saturday, May 22 from 10am – 3pm, the 1st Annual Spring Craft Fair at Wappinger Town Hall is the place to be if you love handmade items by talented, local makers. And, there will be another fair happening on the same day from 9am-4pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Wappingers Falls at 2568 South Avenue.
Covid protocols will be in place at both fairs.
At the fair at Town Hall, we’ll have a pet food drive for area shelters, so we ask everyone to bring a pet food item to donate. We also have a great raffle as a fundraiser for our Wappinger Veterans Advisory – a NYS Lottery Scratcher basket worth $250.00! Tickets are $10.00 each. You don’t want to miss out on that!
Crafters
If you are a crafter and want to apply to the fair, give us a call as we still have some spots left: 297-0720.
So, come on out and support your local artists and find unique things to call your own or to gift. We’ll see you there!
At Supervisor Thurston’s request, the Dutchess County Executive has designated a Covid vaccine pop-up this Saturday, May 22 at Wappinger Town Hall.
Johnson and Johnson vaccines will be available to the public from 11am – 2pm. The County will also have a vaccine information table at our Spring Craft Fair, which is happening on the same day, between the hours of 10am – 3pm. So, come for great crafts and get vaccinated while you’re here!
