The Town of Wappinger Recycle Center is open to all Town residents to dispose of bulk items such as furniture and metals. The Center also accepts household garbage without additional fees with your annual permit. Please read the revised fee schedule for updated fees and regulations.

The Recycle Center can also take branches and brush, which is made into wood chips and mulch. This material is used for various Town projects and is free to all Recycle Center permit holders. We ask that you just bring your own container.

NOTICE: Royal Carting has referred us to follow NYSDEC Environmental Conservation Law 27 title 26, as the following items fall under the e-waste regulations and cannot be accepted at the recycle center. All televisions, small scale servers, cathode tubes, computer peripherals, including cables, cords, and or any wiring accompanying the computer peripheral, monitors, electronic keyboards, electronic mice and similar pointing devices, facsimile machines, document scanners, printers, VCRs, digital video recorders, portable digital music players, DVD players, digital converter boxes, cable or satellite receivers including digital media receivers, electronic video game consoles including handheld devices and those intended for use with a video display.

Please Note: Personal Computer equipment, televisions, and any electronic equipment of any kind is no longer accepted at the Town of Wappinger Recycle Center.
