Tyler Adams and Scotts Miracle Grow Announce Donation of New Sod Field at Martz Field and Host Field Day

 

⚽️ **A Hometown Star Returns!** ⚽️

The Town of Wappinger proudly welcomed U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team Captain, a friend of Town Supervisor Cavaccini, Tyler Adams back to where it all began— Martz Field —for a special day filled with soccer, smiles, and hometown pride.

In partnership with Scotts Miracle Grow, we hosted an unforgettable field day, sharing soccer skills and inspiration with local youth athletes alongside the Wappinger United Soccer Club and over 200 of our Town Parks and Recreation Summer Camp kids.

As a tribute to his incredible journey and unwavering dedication to the community, we officially unveiled a new Tyler Adams Soccer Pitch at the Martz Field Recreation Facility. 🙌 A lasting symbol of what hard work, passion, and hometown roots can achieve.

From drills to scrimmages and food truck fun, today was a celebration of youth sports, natural-turf fields, and a local legend who continues to give back. 🌱🇺🇸
