2025 Passport Information

FREE Passports can be picked up at Wappinger Town Hall!

Dear Neighbors,

The Wappinger Passport is an exciting community initiative designed to encourage exploration of local businesses, attractions, and landmarks! Additionally, to mark this historic milestone, we are offering Commemorative Stones that will be placed atop a time capsule, serving as a lasting tribute to our community's rich history. The time capsule will be buried at the end of 2025 and will not be opened until 2125!

See you around Town,
Joseph D. Cavaccini, Town Supervisor

Participants receive a passport that they can take to various participating locations around town. Passports are free to the community and can be picked up at Wappinger Town Hall, locations within the passport will have extras for people, and any Wappinger Recreation Event!

When you visit a spot, you will receive a stamp in your passport as a token of your visit. The goal is to collect stamps from as many locations as possible to discover new places, support local businesses, and learn more about the town’s culture and history. The Wappinger Passport is welcome to any age as well! It’s a great way to get to know your town while having fun and supporting your local community!

Below is information regarding locations within the Passport and where the stamps are located. For each Town of Wappinger Park, there will be a stamp pad. You will stamp your fingerprint within the stamp box for that park! You are also able to attend any Wappinger Recreation Event and receive a stamp!

We ask everyone to be mindful of the location hours and to be respectful when visiting each location. We understand that some locations may be closed when you arrive or the stamp cannot be located at a park, if this happens, please take a picture of yourself at the location. You will be able to come to the Recreation Office at Wappinger Town Hall to receive a stamp. Although, we encourage everyone to receive the stamp at the location. Wappinger Town Hall Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30AM-4PM.
