Wappinger Town Highway Department To Repave and Reconstruct 10 Town Owned Roads Starting Monday, April 29
|
TOWN SUPERVISOR JOSEPH D. CAVACCINI, THE WAPPINGER TOWN BOARD, AND SUPERINTENDENT OF HIGHWAYS MICHAEL J. SHEEHAN ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE REPAVING AND RECONSTRUCTION OF 10 TOWN OWNED ROADWAYS STARTING MONDAY, APRIL 29 THROUGH THE END OF MAY.
The Town of Wappinger is excited to pave this number of roads in record timing and ahead of schedule. The roadways being reconstructed are all approximately two decades old and have surpassed their expected durability. The Town Highway Department will notify residents along impacted routes via letter prior to paving as well as with signage notifying motorists ahead of expected paving times. We urge our residents to avoid these roadways during these times and to not park on the impacted roadways during the project.
