2022 Garden Club Accomplishments

Gazebo Beautification:
– Installation of 4 plant hangers including support brackets w/snap dragon hanging pots
– Installation of raised-bed Trellis planters populated with daises, rex begonia and English ivy

Work around Town Hall Office Building:
– Double raised beds installed on 16” pavers w/river rock edging
– Planted various annuals including rex begonia, depladenia, white & pink Vinca and purple cuphea

– Single raised bed installed on 16” pavers
– Planted tomatoes, various herbs, soybeans and sweet red peppers

– Seasonal planters and decorations installed and maintained throughout the year

The Senior Garden Club also assumed care of memorial beautification:
– Obtained and set-up weather tolerant containers & plants
– Assumed systematic care/watering of flora
– Decorated site w/seasonal appropriate themes

2023 SGC Earth Day activities:
– Early spring bulbs (planted last fall) are flowering!!!
– Raised beds re-opened & readied for planting
– Completed paver installation around single raised planter
– Installed weed block, stone & edging as needed
– Set up new permanent planters in TOW Memorial plaza (front of building)
