A beautiful view of the Hudson River can be enjoyed from the pavilion at Castle Point Park. The park was donated by the Federal Government to the Town of Wappinger on September 1, 1972 and contains two ball-fields as well as a playground area for children. Castle Point sits in the hamlet of Chelsea and is home to the Kenneth A. Browne Korean War Memorial that honors the young Chelsea resident and all those who were killed in action during the Korean War. Picnicking with family, flying a kite with friends, and watching sailboats on the river are favorite pastimes at Castle Point Park!
