Wappinger Town Joins Schools in Recognizing School Resource Officers

Wappinger, NY – On this National School Resource Officers Day, Wappingers Central School District Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Dwight Bonk, invited Town Supervisor Joseph D. Cavaccini and Dutchess County Legislator Robert Faust on a tour of both Wappingers Falls Junior High School and Roy C. Ketcham Senior High School to see the important safety initiatives that are taking place to protect our students.

“The joint collaboration between the School District and the men and women of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office is an excellent example of providing safe spaces for all in our schools. The Wappinger Town Government thanks our School Resource Officers for all that they do.” said Town Supervisor Cavaccini.
