NYS DOT schedule regarding reconstruction on Old Hopewell Road (County Route 28) for dates 4/5/21 through 4/9/21

Please be advised that reconstruction on Old Hopewell Road (County Route 28) has resumed on Monday, March 15 at 7:00am. Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has advised the Town that this project will be on going for the remainder of 2021 and will include the complete reconstruction of the roadway, such as wider shoulders, turning lanes, traffic signals, removal of hills, and repaving.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and to avoid Old Hopewell Road on weekdays between 7:00am and 4:00pm as there will be lane closures and delays.
