Welcome to the 49th Town of Wappinger Community Weekend – CarniFall!

Dear neighbors,

I am thrilled to invite you to this year’s “CarniFall” Community Weekend Festivities, a cherished tradition that brings our residents together for an extended weekend of celebration and joy. As autumn paints our Town in vibrant colors, we have a fantastic lineup of activities planned for families and friends of all ages.

Dive into the excitement with our thrilling carnival rides that will delight the young and the young at heart. Savor the flavors of the season with a variety of delicious food options from local vendors, showcasing the best of what our amazing community has to offer. Be sure to visit Meadowbrook Farm, a family-owned Wappinger landmark, where you can connect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the season with apple picking and apple cider donuts! Our impressive lineup of live music will set the perfect backdrop for a weekend filled with laughter and memories as well as fun small-town activities such as the return of our pie eating contest on Sunday!

Your Town government is working around the clock to enhance your quality of life. Through growing up events such as CarniFall, revitalizing our parks and infrastructure, and fostering new small businesses throughout Wappinger; we truly appreciate you and your family joining us today. In anticipation of our Town’s 150th anniversary next year, let us not forget the roots of this annual event as a true celebration of the rich heritage and history of our great Town of Wappinger. I encourage each one of you to fully take in this weekend’s festivities and programs as I will. Through this, we hope that you will join in the feeling of being #WappingerProud.

This is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of our community spirit. Let’s come together to make this day special and create memories that will last a lifetime. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the heart of Wappinger!

Looking forward to seeing you around Town,
