On Friday, January 5, 2024, hundreds of neighbors, friends, and families attended the 2024 Wappinger Town Inauguration Ceremony.

William G. Truitt, Chairman of the Dutchess County Legislature, proceeded over yesterday’s gathering which formally swore in our Town’s elected officials including Senior Councilman William H. Beale, Councilwoman Angela Bettina, Councilman Christopher Phillips, Councilman Al Casella, Town Clerk Joseph P. Paoloni, Town Justice Nicholas Maselli, County Legislators Lisa Paoloni, Lynne Miele-Versaci, Rob Faust, and the 30th Town Supervisor of the Town of Wappinger, Joseph D. Cavaccini.
Town Supervisor Cavaccini welcomed residents, elected officials, and Town employees and went on to publicly announce his vision for his administration including legislation to protect our quality of life, capital improvement projects to Town parks and facilities, and addressing critical financial and personnel policies.
“A good leader doesn’t need or expect to be the smartest in every room. A good leader brings together the best and brightest, and is willing to listen and learn. This is a team effort and we have already began the task of assembling an amazing team, paired with many of our very knowledgeable and dedicated employees who currently serve our neighbors.”, said Supervisor Cavaccini.
